Chapter 1 The sun was hiding behind thickening clouds on a mild summer's afternoon. The rain was inevitable, biding its time, waiting for the end of school bell to ring before releasing the deluge, drenching everyone who had dare to venture out. Adam stood waiting for his mother to collect him, glancing from left to right to see where she was as the heavens opened and the rain came crashing down. He was stood in his uniform by the school gate without a coat and looked a sorry sight with his skinny build and his now sodden clothes stuck firmly to his skin. His mother was hurrying along the road towards him gesturing for Adam to come to her. He did as he was told, running as fast as his little legs could carry him. His mother had an umbrella and his coat to wrap around him to try and get some warmth back into his body. "Come along Adam, let's get you back home and out of those clothes and into something warmer". "But mum, can we go to the shop first?" "Don't be ridiculous, you
You are my inspiration, The one I call my Muse, If not for you I would not write, My words I could not fuse. You are always there to listen, Help me when I fall, Share with me my passion, And push me to stand tall. With every word that I pen, You are hear in me, Dancing round inside my mind, Enabling me to see. And if my thoughts are blocked, The words fail to run true, I try to think of ways that work, But nothing works like you.

Memories devour,
Masticating upon,
Sense and senility,
No longer strong,
Resistance eroded,
Passage of time,
Willfully abandon,
Vein sublime.
Twisted core,
Wretched mind,
Vengeance sought,
But undefined,
Reprisal passed,
Given by proxy,
Blood spilt freely,
Ritual with moxy.
Desperate thoughts,
Bequeath pain,
Everlasting image,
Resilience in vain,
Misplaced hatred,
Mutilated flesh,
Erroneous blood,
Horrors unvanquished.
Just starting to get back to where I was a couple of years ago and thought I'd start it with the dawn of a new day. https://www.deviantart.com/archy67/art/Sign-of-the-Sunrise-626442882
I appear to have gone missing from my mind lately......
I have lost the desire to write, to speak with friends, to acknowledge people in the street, to talk to the checkout assistant.
My head is lowered, eyes shielded from view under a baseball cap, earphones in even when my batteries are flat.
I hope this vacation from reality ends soon because the further I travel the longer its going to take me to get back.
Thank you so much for viewing, possibly favouriting, and Watching. I try to share the love through giving Llamas, Badges, and Watching in Return, but please know I appreciate you more than any of these may ever show.
